This is a Term time only position, salary 25k to 35k plus holiday pay @12.07%

We are a multi-award winning set of small, unique, family style pre-schools and nurseries for children aged between 3 months-5 year olds.

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Deputy or Nursery Manager to oversee and support the daily operations of our preschool. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with children. This role requires excellent leadership skills, the ability to communicate effectively in English, and a commitment to providing a safe and nurturing environment for children.

Duties

Manage the overall operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Develop and implement educational programmes that promote the physical, emotional, and social development of children.
Supervise and support staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
Communicate effectively with parents, providing updates on their child’s progress and addressing any concerns.
Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment for children to learn and play.
Organise activities that encourage children’s creativity and curiosity.
Ensure that all health and safety protocols are adhered to within the preschool setting.
Drive initiatives for continuous improvement in nursery and preschool practices and policies.

Requirements

Proven experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
A background in early childhood education is highly desirable.
Ability to drive initiatives that enhance children’s learning experiences.
